For Release 6B, this preview route keeps auction discovery understandable while auction setup, bids, winners, messaging, offers, checkout, orders, notifications, and delivery remain closed until the full auction workflow is built and tested.

This page keeps future auction links safe and understandable while the auction workflow is still closed. It does not write to the database, expose private bid history, configure auctions, start bidding, place bids, void bids, finalize winners, create notifications, create orders, or launch commerce. Saved-listing and offer workflows remain isolated to their approved controlled routes.

This route is aligned with the approved Release 6B public marketplace family: browse, listing detail, seller profile, storefront, saved listings, messages, offers, My Marketplace, and the admin review routes. It prepares the future auction path without opening bidding, bid feeds, auction setup, winner selection, checkout, or fulfilment actions.

Auction status

Auction activity will open in a later release

Private auction and bid views are intentionally not displayed yet. The action workflow must be built separately with CSRF protection, authorization, seller-manager checks, rate limits, moderation rules, reserve-price safeguards, anti-sniping/soft-close rules, notification rules, and live tests before users can configure auctions or place bids.

Auctions will require a TownConnect account. You can browse the controlled marketplace preview now. Auction setup, bidding, bid history, winner finalization, notifications, checkout, and orders will open only after the future auction workflow is built and approved.
